Our adventure begins with a walk through the vineyards that line the lake. Here, the Turbiana grape, grown on clayey soils and nourished by a perfect microclimate, gives life to Lugana. I was lucky enough to visit a small family winery, where I discovered the winemaking process that transforms these grapes into a wine of exceptional quality.
A dive into history and taste
In the cellar, the winemaker told me the history of Lugana, a wine that has its roots in a past rich in traditions. I tasted several vintages, noticing how each bottle contained different nuances: from floral scents to touches of ripe fruit, with that typical minerality that makes it unmistakable.
